Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani Visits Al-Mutahida Packaging, Praising Its Exceptional Industrial Capabilities

In a notable achievement reflecting the continuous development of Iraq’s industrial sector, The Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, conducted an official visit to Al-Mutahida Packaging to Launch a number of its modern manufacturing facilities, including the largest and first PET Resin production plant in Iraq. This strategic step further strengthens the company’s position as a leading player in the packaging and plastics industry at both the national and regional levels.

The facilities include plastic PET Preforms manufacturing, plastic Closures production, shrink film manufacturing, and flexible printing. These advanced facilities serve a wide range of vital sectors, including water and beverages, juices, edible oils, detergents, and various food industries. They were designed and developed in accordance with the highest international quality standards, incorporating the latest production technologies and modern industrial practices to ensure superior performance and efficiency.

The visit also witnessed the laying of the foundation stone for the largest and first plastic refining (PET Resin) and raw material production project in Iraq. This strategic project contributes to enhancing industrial self-sufficiency and confirms the company’s capability to expand both locally and regionally.
